JavaScript Essential Training with Charles G. Hollins is a CD-ROM based workshop for HTML developers who wish to move from static to interactive Web development. Although JavaScript is primarily used to execute programming logic within the Web browser, the language has now become the industry standard for client-side programming. Thus, developers can apply their skills to Macromedia® Flash™, Adobe® Acrobat® and a variety of applications which support the JavaScript language.
The JavaScript code in this workshop was designed and demonstrated under the Windows operating system. The samples were developed and tested for the Windows versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator 6; most should run within any browser that supports JavaScript. However, some incompatibilities may exist under different operating systems and browsers.
